Seventh Traveller pages in local artist’s book
Local artist Peter Reeds had the marvellous idea to leave a number of sketchbooks in the Deaf Cat for anyone who fancied it to fill in. The only rule was: there were no rules as to what you could put in it.
We made a few Seventh Traveller pages – have a look and see if the books are still in the Deaf Cat. There are lots of other creative and interesting things in the book, so you may need to grab a coffee while you browse!
See extracts from the Seventh Traveller live at the Dickens Festival!
You can catch extracts from the Seventh Traveller live at the Dickens Festival in Rochester on 4-6 June, 2pm and 4pm in Eastgate House, where some of this multimedia project based on a story by Dickens will be performed.
For those who can’t make it we will be posting a magazine here (to download after) of the readings, and you might even get a podcast if you are lucky!

Extracts from The Seventh Traveller to premiere at Dickens World on 7 February.
Sunday 7 February will see the world premiere of extracts from The Seventh Traveller.
It’s no coincidence that we are launching the project on 7 February at Dickens World in Chatham as that date is also the anniversary of Charles Dickens’ birth. ME4 Writers and friends will be dotted around the attraction, reading extracts throughout the day.
We will also read extracts at an evening event, to be held at Dickens World at Porters Bar, from 7pm onwards. Entry to the evening event is by £2 raffle ticket, and you have the chance to win CDs and books, as well as have a slice of birthday cake and play pass the parcel!
